Small, cozy cabin with a great view of Bortelid's mountains. The cabin is located a little higher up in the terrain, which gives a good and airy feeling. Plenty of terraces around the cabin, also under a roof so the coziness factor is there regardless of the season and weather. It is approx. 50 meters to walk from the parking lot. The trail is wet in some places so good shoes are good to have. The cabin itself contains a large hallway with a toilet with sink and washing machine. Further into the cabin. 1 bedroom with family bunk bed with a single bed upstairs and 150 cm. downstairs. 1 bedroom with 140 cm double bed. The kitchen has most of the equipment for cooking. On to the combined dining/living room. The dining table is beautifully placed in front of large windows. Here you can enjoy the view during meals or when the family gathers for various games. Every day there is a new painting outside.
The living room has a lounge, table and access to the terrace. Wood stove in the living room and it gives a nice cabin feeling and extra coziness on cold days. Outside the cabin there is a small 2 part annex with sofa corner and TV on one side and the other part there is a double bed. There is no signal on TV but can stream with your own Internet modem. The entrance to the annex is under the canopy that runs between the cabin and the annex. Dogs are not allowed in this cabin. Parking for 1 car. In winter, the path is not plowed. Approx. 50 to walk.

Short distance approx. 100 m. to prepared cross-country trails. Bortelid ski and alpine center is approx. 1 km away. To Bortelid grocery store and center with beach, mini golf course, canoe rental, mountain frisbee, roller ski trail, charging station and fuel system etc. it is approx. 1 km.

In central Southern Norway, approx. 1.5-2 hours from Kristiansand, Arendal and Lyngdal, you will find the holiday resort Bortelid in Åseral municipality.
